A multipurpose solution cleans, disinfects and stores your lenses between wears. Saline rinses lenses but does not disinfect them, and rewetting drops made for contact lenses ease dryness while you wear them.
Use fresh solution every time, never top up old solution, never use tap water, and replace your lens case regularly. Ask your optometrist which solution suits your lens type and your eyes.
