Product Description

Smith+Nephew OPSITE Post-Op is a sterile adhesive wound dressing featuring an ultra-thin, breathable film with a low-adherent absorbent pad. The waterproof outer film allows users to shower without removing the dressing while helping to protect the wound from external contaminants.

Its flexible construction conforms comfortably to body contours, making it suitable for everyday movement. Ideal for use on minor cuts, grazes, and sutured wounds as directed by a healthcare professional.

How to Use

1. Wash your hands before and after dressing the wound.
2. Gently clean the wound and surrounding skin, then dry thoroughly.
3. Ensure any bleeding has stopped before applying the dressing.
4. Remove the dressing from the sterile pouch.
5. Peel off the release paper marked "1".
6. Position the dressing over the wound and press gently into place.
7. Remove the second release paper marked "1" and smooth the dressing onto the skin.
8. Remove the top covering marked "2".
9. To remove, lift one corner and slowly stretch the film parallel to the skin.

Care Instructions

• The dressing may remain in place for several days, provided it continues to protect the wound and adheres securely.
• Replace the dressing if it becomes damaged, starts leaking, or no longer sticks properly.
